Dance? No, Dialogue Through Dance!

アジア連は、その活動が平和構築に寄与すると評価され、2026年、日本の団体として初めて Music in PeaceBuilding Hub Directory に掲載されました。

Asia-ren has been recognized for its contribution to peacebuilding, and in 2026 became the first organization from Japan listed in the Music in PeaceBuilding Hub Directory.

■アジア連は、2023年にコロナ禍で生まれた社会の分断を乗り越え、 文化を通じて人と人をつなぐことを願って発足しました。
Asia-ren was founded in 2023 with the hope of overcoming the social divisions that emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic and reconnecting people through culture.

■母国の文化を日本に紹介する舞踊手、 日本文化を世界へ届ける舞踊手・音楽家が参加する国際的な阿波踊りチームです。
Our team includes dancers who introduce their home cultures to Japan, and dancers and musicians who share Japanese culture with the world.

■これまでに 13カ国・延べ300名以上が参加し、 多文化が響き合う「Dialogue Through Dance」を実践しています。
More than 300 participants from 13 countries have joined our Awa Odori activities, creating a vibrant space of Dialogue Through Dance.

■アジア連は高円寺阿波踊りに参加しています。 観客は2日間で約100万人、踊り手は1万人とも言われる、東京最大級の夏まつりです。 当日の様子はJ:COMでLIVE配信され、その後YouTubeを通じて世界へ発信されます。
Asia-ren participates in the Koenji Awa Odori Festival, one of Tokyo’s largest summer events, attracting about one million spectators over two days and featuring nearly 10,000 dancers. The festival is broadcast live on J:COM and later shared worldwide on YouTube.

Achievements of Asia-ren You can view our newspaper coverage and performance videos. In 2023, Asia-ren received 3rd Place and the Shiobara Village Friendship Award (3rd out of 164 teams).

■参加資格 国籍・性別・年齢・経験は問いません。 主旨にご賛同いただける方は、どなたでもご参加いただけます。
Eligibility No restrictions on nationality, gender, age, or dance experience. Anyone who supports our mission is welcome to join.

■ 募集対象

踊り手・サポートクルー （国籍・性別・年齢・経験は問いません）

■ 募集期間

5月1日〜（定員になり次第締切） お申し込みは下記フォームからお願いします。

■ 参加費

• 踊り手：10,000円 （登録料・保険料・安全管理費・衛生管理費・控室・指導料など）
• サポートスタッフ／クルー：3,000円 （登録料のみ）

■ 練習について（予定）

・本番までに 5〜15回程度 の練習がありますが、全日参加は必須ではありません。
・練習予定日 :5月：第4週 火曜 18:30〜20:30
・6〜8月：毎週火曜 18:30〜20:30 または 20:00〜21:00

駒込地域文化創造館 4F（JR山手線 駒込駅から徒歩2分） ※変更となる場合があります

■ 衣装について

・母国の民族衣装をご自身でご準備ください。
・日本の衣装を着用する場合は、別途衣装代が発生します。

■ Benefits

• Receive professional training from experienced instructors.
• Dance instruction by Minzoku Buyo Judan NIPPON.
• Perform together with professional Taiko drummers.

■ Who Can Join

Dancers and support crew. No restrictions on nationality, gender, age, or experience.

■ Application Period

From May 1 (closes when capacity is reached). Please apply using the form below.

■ Participation Fee

・Dancers: 10,000 JPY (registration, insurance, safety and hygiene management, dressing

■ Practice Schedule (Tentative)

• 5–15 sessions before the festival. Full attendance is not required.
• Schedule: 　• May: 4th Tuesday, 18:30–20:30 　• June–August: Every Tuesday, 18:30–20:30 or 20:00–21:00
• Details will be provided to participants.
• Please join as many sessions as possible.

■ Practice Venue

Komagome Regional Cultural Center, 4th Floor (2 minutes from JR Yamanote Line Komagome Station) Venue may change. Practice video available.

■ Costumes

If you prefer a Japanese costume, an additional fee will be required.

メンバーになると、踊りだけでなく、着物の着方・立ち居振る舞い・日本文化についても学べます。
As a member, you can learn not only Awa Odori dance, but also how to wear kimono, proper posture and etiquette, and various aspects of Japanese culture.

指導者としての活動ができるように、本格的に学ぶことができます。
You can study in depth so that you can eventually take on roles as an instructor or leader.

高円寺阿波踊り参加の場合、登録料金￥3,000のみ。
For the Koenji Awa Odori Festival, members can participate by paying only the ¥3,000 registration fee.
